Shipping & Delivery Policy

At Forge and Bearing, we know that when you order gear for your next build, solar setup, or braai, you want it in your hands as soon as possible. We pride ourselves on getting your equipment from our workshop to the wild (or your front door) as efficiently as possible.

Processing Times

We aim to get your orders packed and ready for dispatch within [1–2] business days. 

Note: During high-volume periods or seasonal sales, please allow for a little extra time while we get our ducks in a row.

Delivery Estimates

We ship nationwide across South Africa. Once your order has left our facility, the estimated delivery times are as follows:

  • Main Centers: 2–5 business days.

  • Outlying/Remote Areas: 3–6 business days.

Please note: These are estimates. If you’re tucked away in a remote area, it might take a day or two longer.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are already calculated into the amount when you are at checkout. Some of our smaller gear we allow for both Pudo (cost efficient) or door to door delivery. For some of our other gear free door to door shipping is included.

Tracking Your Gear

As soon as your package hits the road, you’ll receive an email with your tracking number. You can track your shipment directly via our website or the courier’s portal.

A Note on the "Bushveld" Reality

We do our best to ensure your delivery is seamless, but sometimes things like load-shedding, extreme weather, or courier delays are out of our hands. We will always communicate any major delays as soon as we know about them.

Damages & Issues

We inspect every piece of gear before it leaves our shop, but if your package arrives looking like it’s been through a 4x4 trail, please:

  1. Document the damage with photos.

  2. Reach out to us at sales@forgeandbearing.com within 48 hours of receiving the package.

  3. We’ll work with you to make it right, whether that means a replacement or a return.
